OK, that download seems to work. Now I'm having trouble figuring out how to use the mod, though. From reading your instructions and watching that demo video, I understand that I need to craft a Research Station first to then get the UFO techs from it. I can't find a Research Station anywhere to craft. I've checked the default crafting menu, the robotic crafting table, the metalwork station, and even the 3D printer. It's not showing up in any of them. Since I am using the mod on an existing character which is fully up to tech level 10, I also downloaded the mod you linked to for re-learning starmap and tech upgrades.
I re-used my existing tech upgrades (I'd saved them just in case anyway), which gave me that mod's tech re-upgrade chips. I then used those, but there was no indication they did anything. The Research Station is still not showing up anywhere i can see to craft. What am I missing? OK, that download seems to work. Now I'm having trouble figuring out how to use the mod, though.

Is There Anyway I Can Get The Ufo Mod For Mac

After comparing a few files between this mod and the others I have installed, I found something that made the research station finally show up for me. In player.config, I changed 'level32' to 'tier5', 'level33' to 'tier6', and so forth. The research station now shows up for crafting and it shows all the UFO blueprints on it. I went ahead and went straight to the highest tier UFO, and I have to say, the energy consumption of using it seems a bit high.
I'm wearing a set of the highest tier armor available (Impervium) and the UFO burns through all of my energy after just hovering around for a few seconds. EDIT: I'll tell you what felt good to me for the top tier UFO.
25 speed, so it can move along at a decent rate, and 40 energyCostPerSecond. That allows for just slow energy regain while wearing the full set of impervium armor.
